BackgroundEdit

The Hasaad Market (actually spelled "Asad Market") owner (who identified himself as "Nick") was discovered by Tito Garcia in 1994. According to a poster on Tito's now defunct website, the owner's real name was "Suhail Abdeohailm." Hasaad Market was a convenience store that existed in San Francisco, California but is currently closed. The prankster allegedly called the store's owner "every day for two years," berating him about a bad sandwich that he had purchased there. The owner often became furious, hurling a barrage of vulgar insults at the prankster.

According to Tito's online comments, he never actually bought a sandwich there, though he did visit the store occasionally. He described the store owner as a "total dick" and the store as a "shithole." He also revealed the real reason for his non stop prank calls. Tito "bought a pack of smokes and he (the owner) like threw them at me.we got into a big argument so I cranked him every day for 2 years."

Despite allegedly calling Hasaad Market every day for two years, only seven calls to Hasaad Market are known to exist, with three alternate versions of the calls and some extra material which Tito reffered to as "Hasaad Outtakes." On his website, however, Tito claimed that there were a total of nine calls and some outtakes, posting "If anyone would like a Hasaad CD including all 9 of the calls to the hasaad market plus a special "Hasaad Outtakes" track, e-mail me."

Later DevelopmentsEdit

It is unknown how many calls to Hasaad Market actually exist. On Tito's website,a link labeled "!NEW! HASAAD MARKET CALLS!!! CLICK HERE," linked to a now defunct page with some new calls to the store. There are two calls labeled "Hasaad Market (Dec. 99)," as well as calls labeled "Where the f*@k is Man-O," and "Where's Muhammed." These calls are considered lost.

Apparently Man-O, and perhaps Muhammed, were employees at Hasaad Market. Tito posted online "I've even seen Man-O a few times!! Really stupid guy!!! Not very good looking."

Later, a lesser known soundboard was made from Hasaad Market's store owner and called "Angry Arab."
